Focal point for all aspects of cost accounting within AB-UK
Liaison with associated UK cost Centres for cost accounting management needs
Manage the preparation of status deliverables and reports
Lead in routine engagement with external auditors for the preparation and filing of reports and return to Companies House
Preparation of Monthly Finance meetings and reports
Preparation of Quarterly Shareholder Board Meeting Cost Accounting elements
Routine management of Tools and Processes to enable effective cost accounting.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Experience & Educational Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years cost-accounting experience in defence, although applicants with extensive PM history in an adjacent industry will be considered.
Educated to at least degree level in a relevant discipline - essential
PMQ certified, for example PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma - essential
Proficient in Microsoft Project, risk management tools and earned value methodologies - essential
Experience of working within multi-national companies - highly desirable
Membership of an industry related professional body - desirable
Colloquial German - a bonus
A willingness to travel, both within the UK and abroad, sometimes at short notice.
