 Arts Attendant 
 Lisburn BT27 
 Temporary (Approx 24 weeks) 
 13.26 per hour 
 17.5 hours per week 
Main Purpose 
 The post holder acts as a front-line point of contact for the patrons of the Council's Arts Service, based at ISLAND Arts Centre and assists with the day-to-day running of the Arts Service, as required. Operationally, the Arts Attendant is directly responsible to the Arts Administration Coordinator but at times may report to the person acting as Duty Officer of the venue where they are working on any issues of building maintenance e.g. heating, lighting, security, hygiene. 
 The post holder may assume additional duties relevant to the post as reasonably determined by the Arts Administration Coordinator to address changing business needs or requirements which shall include participation in the interchange of duties to cover breaks, annual leave and other absences. 
 Main Roles and Responsibilities * To undertake a range of Front of House duties in accordance with the Council's Customer Care standards, including the operation of the Arts Centre's telephone system; ensuring all calls are correctly dealt with and that all messages received, are recorded and delivered. To check deliveries, sign and take receipt of goods for the Arts Service, as necessary.
