Salary: 44,097 - 47,686 per annum, with further salary progression available subject to performance in role.
Bonus: Up to 10% base salary per annum based on achievement of company targets and personal performance.

What will the Successful Candidate be Doing:
We are seeking Analysts to join our well established and developing Analytical Services team to carry out extensive analytical techniques on samples across the site, from simple wet chemical techniques to complex instrumentation including spectroscopy, chromatography and radiometric techniques. Working across several laboratories on the Sellafield site you will have exposure to a broad range of analytical methods with opportunity to become a true expert in your field.

The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Skills:
Qualified to HNC/HND level, or equivalent, in Chemistry or a science related subject.
Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
Good IT skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and to be able to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work within a controlled area.
Previous experience in a laboratory environment.
Hold or have the ability to gain SC clearance.
Desirable Skills:
Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in Chemistry or a science related subject.
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Previous experience working in radiologically controlled environments.
Knowledge and experience of quality management systems (ISO 17025).
Membership of relevant professional body.
