Barnardo's South West Scotland Services delivers a range of family support services to children, young people and families in North, South and East Ayrshire. We deliver a flexible range of early intervention-based services aimed at building resilience and promoting positive outcomes for children. We are seeking to expand our team of Project 1 "As and When Required" staff and we are inviting applications from individuals interested in supporting us with our work.
This is an opportunity to work with children, young people and families who are experiencing adversity in a number of areas including poverty, homelessness and parenting support and supporting our Pantry in Hurlford.
The post holder will have experience of direct work with children and young people in either a community or residential setting, but this does not have to have been gained in a formal employment setting.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band - this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
