English Teacher with QTS Halifax
We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Halifax.
A secondary school in Halifax are actively seeking an Englsih teacher to join them September 01 2025. This is a placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the department within the school; As part of this role will teach up to GCSE level and be responsible for participating in team planning. There is potential for this to be extended.
Days needed: 01/09 Wed - Fri
08/09 Thurs & Fri
15-09 - Thursday
More work will be available for the right person
UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Job responsibilities:
Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupils
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK Full time availability Specialism or experience teaching History (preferred)

Pay: 150 - 220 per day
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
