Job Description

EDP part of RSK Group are seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant, to join our successful, experienced and expanding national asbestos team on a Permanent, Full time basis. This is a Home based role with commutability to Livingston needed, and will require some travel as and when required.

EDP is an international health, safety and environmental consultancy founded over 25 years ago with offices throughout the UK and with international operations in Australia, Singapore, and Ireland.

Asbestos Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling
• Carrying out asbestos monitoring and clearances/ Certificate of Re-occupation
• Preparing accurate reports of your work in standard formats
• Maintaining and building on good relationship with clients.
• Managing projects and small teams

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar role, within an UKAS accredited organisation
• P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA
• Competent and confident user of MS office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to write accurate and concise technical reports
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to multi-task
• Team worker, able to build rapport within an established team
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly, as well as working weekends on occasions.
• Full drivers\xe2\x80\x99 licence.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week plus overtime (when required)
• Salary; Up to \xc2\xa335,000 + Car Allowance
