The Role
We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to undertake asbestos inspections, surveys and sampling other associated activity of the company in accordance with the Quality Manual, Site and Technical Procedures and associated legislation and guidance.
Location: Field based in Manchester
Salary: 33,000 - 36,000 plus car allowance
Duties include:
Undertaking Asbestos Management & Refurbishment surveys and re-inspections
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers
Providing recommendations for remedial works
Skills and Experience Required
British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) P402 - 'Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos as a minimum
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Excellent communication skills
Flexible, and have an excellent work ethic
Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
Must be prepared to travel
