We are expanding our clinical network and seeking experienced Self-Employed ADHD and ADOS/ADI-RAssessors to deliver high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. This is a flexible opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about making a difference.
About the Role:
You will conduct structured assessments for ADHD and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder using validated tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R, clinical interviews, and recognised diagnostic frameworks. You'll work independently, managing your own caseload and producing timely, evidence-based reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ADHD and/or ADOS/ADI-R assessments (remote or face-to-face)
Use standardised diagnostic tools and structured clinical interviews
Prepare comprehensive diagnostic reports with clear recommendations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams where required
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records
Essential Criteria:
Registration with GMC, HCPC, NMC, or equivalent professional body, and professional indemnity
Clinical background in psychiatry, paediatrics, psychology, mental health nursing or related field
Demonstrable experience conducting assessments using recognised tools
ASD - Formal training in ADOS-2 and ADI-R administration and scoring and/or ADHD - Formal training in DIVA-5. Prescribing clinician (e.g. Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurse Prescriber, or GP with special interest) highly desirable
Familiarity with NICE guidelines and DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria for ADHD
Strong report-writing and clinical decision-making skills
