Your Role:




To lead and supervise aseptic manufacturing operations, ensuring that all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory legislation and company quality standards. The Aseptic Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing staff, maintaining compliance and ensuring that manufacturing targets are achieved safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:




Manufacturing Operations & Compliance




Oversee day-to-day aseptic manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to GMP, SOPs, and health & safety regulations. Supervise compounding operations (e.g. Cytotoxic, CIVAS, TPN) and ensure all documentation and quality standards are met. Monitor environmental and cleanroom practices, lead incident management, and investigate deviations and out-of-specifications. Maintain accurate records and ensure readiness for internal and external audits. Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of SOPs, systems, and best practices.

Quality & Process Oversight




Support quality control processes, including product/material release and CAPA tracking. Assist with internal projects and initiatives to strengthen quality culture and compliance across the department. Collaborate with QA and Production leadership to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Team Management




Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in line with company values and operational goals. Allocate daily workloads, monitor team performance, and conduct 1:1s, PDPs, and return-to-work interviews. Manage performance, absences, training needs, disciplinary procedures, and holiday approvals. Ensure clear communication of expectations, targets, and Group-wide messages. Recognise individual and team achievements and implement strategies to retain and develop key talent.

Cross-Functional Collaboration




Work closely with leadership and other departments to ensure effective resource planning and training delivery. Support wider business needs by assisting other departments during peak periods. Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives as directed.

What We're Looking For




Experience in working within a licensed facility or under a section 10 exemption Scientific Degree Qualification (or equivalent) is desirable although not essential depending on experience At least 3 years post-qualification or relevant GMP Experience Experience using GxP Quality Management System Demonstrable experience of working autonomously and making decisions An individual eager to develop skills in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
