We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reservations Manager to oversee our reservations team and ensure exceptional service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in optimising our booking processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately and efficiently.
Supervise and train team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Develop and implement strategies to improve sales management and maximise occupancy rates.
Maintain an organised system for tracking reservations, cancellations, and customer inquiries.
Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding guest requirements and special requests.
Handle escalated customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
Prepare reports on booking trends, team performance, and customer feedback for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of service.
Skills
Proven experience in sales management within a hospitality or retail environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in retail management is advantageous but not essential.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership roles.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in administrative tasks related to reservations and customer service operations.
