Job Description

Hillhouse Quarry Group Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our asphalt plants and equipment at our sites in Troon, Cambuslang and Alloa, to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Candidates should be qualified with a Mechanical Plant Fitter NVQ3 or City and Guilds equivalent. However, this is not essential for those with relevant work experience. Consideration will be given to someone from a heavy engineering background.

Responsibilities:

Conducting routine maintenance on asphalt plant equipment, including mixers, screens, conveyors, and other machinery. Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with the plant equipment and making repairs as needed. Ordering and installing replacement parts when necessary. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Ensuring that all equipment is operated in compliance with safety regulations. Participating in the installation of new equipment and upgrades as needed.
Requirements

Excellent knowledge of asphalt plant equipment and operations. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
