We are seeking a compassionate and creative Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school that supports children with high-support autism and profound multiple learning difficulties. This role is ideal for an art or creative graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a therapeutic environment while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.
About the Role:

• Salary: 101 to 110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (term time only)
• Start Date: 24th November and January 6th
• Location: West Drayton

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the children's daily lives, including sensory care, personal care, and toilet care. You will gain experience comparable to the training undertaken by fully qualified Art and Speech and Language Therapists.
You will also help create a nurturing and stimulating environment, using art, music, and play as therapeutic tools to engage and support the children.

Global Development Delay (GDD):
Global Development Delay refers to a significant delay in two or more areas of a child's development, such as motor skills, speech, cognition, or social-emotional growth. In this role, you will work closely with children who have GDD, learning their unique stimuli and preferences to help them thrive. Your support will be instrumental in fostering their development and enhancing their quality of life.
