We have an opportunity for an

Assembler

to join us at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, UK, where you will be responsible for mechanical and hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques.


This is a permanent, full-time, day shift role: Mon-Thu: 08.00-17.00, Fri: 08.00-13.00.


You may be required to work occasional shift: Mon-Wed: 20.00 - 06.00, Thu: 20.00-04.30

Key responsibilities:

Hand Assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process Carrying out visual quality checks and packing Labelling of finished parts

Key skills and qualifications

Proven experience working within an Assembly and/or Manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail, dexterity and hand-to-eye co-ordination Working as part of a team Good time keeping and flexibility Showing initiative Confidence in using Windows based PC programs Proven record in fine detail assembly
