We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our team, where you will play a key role in assembling wiper arms and components that meet the rigorous standards of safety, durability, and reliability demanded by our customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Select components from stock based on Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements Assemble mechanical and electrical components to specification Operate and maintain hand tools and air tools (e.g. rivet guns) Conduct inspections, record findings, and report non-conformances Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained correctly Pack and label parts safely and accurately for the next operation Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Follow company procedures, instructions, and engineering drawings Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area Undertake other duties as required to support business needs
Experience & Skills Required

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings PC literate; experience with SAP is desirable but not essential Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
