Position: Assembly Fitter - Agricultural & Forestry Machinery
We are currently looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter to join our busy and growing production team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with mechanical assembly experience who takes pride in precision work and wants to be part of a forward-thinking manufacturing business in a vital industry.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical fitting or equipment assembly Familiarity with agricultural or forestry machinery highly desirable Skilled in operating overhead cranes and power tools Full UK driving licence Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings Practical experience with hydraulics and basic electrics Strong problem-solving capabilities Safety-focused with a high attention to detail Proactive team player with excellent communication skills Flexible, well-organised, and deadline-driven

Main Responsibilities:

Assembling heavy-duty machinery and components to precise specifications Using hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts for assembly operations Interpreting and following technical drawings for accurate builds Collaborating with the production team to meet project targets Conducting functional tests, quality checks, and system diagnostics Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment
