In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of pneumatic equipment, such as valves, hoses, and regulators, under varying pressure levels. You will also handle serialising and batch coding of the equipment, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards. Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial.
Assemble and test equipment using both pneumatic and hydrostatic techniques.
Working to engineering drawings and detailed method specifications.
Meet project deadlines and delivery timelines.
Record and maintain equipment serial numbers and relevant data in the company's database.
Perform final inspections to verify equipment quality.
Operate hand and power tools as necessary
Manage stock and source components as needed.
Report any defective or non-compliant parts to the supervisor.
Person Specification:
Solid knowledge of assembly techniques in a workshop or production setting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Background in both mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering and assembly drawings.
Skilled in using measuring instruments, templates, jigs, and gauges.
Ability to work efficiently within set deadlines.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Proficient with computers and various IT applications.
