We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production lines efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical processes and assembly work to develop their skills within a dynamic industrial setting.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production lines to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Utilise hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, and repairs as required.
Assist with the setup and changeover of production equipment to facilitate different product runs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to comply with health and safety standards.
Record production data accurately and report any discrepancies or concerns to supervisors.
Support warehouse activities, including the movement of materials and finished products within the facility.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks safely.
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 13.03-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
