About the role

Astor Bannerman is a long-established manufacturer of specialist bathing and lifting systems that improve the lives of disabled and elderly people.

We are looking for an

Assembly Operative

to join our

evening shift assembly team

. You will assemble products safely and accurately, helping the team meet daily production and quality targets.

What you'll be doing

Assembling products such as baths, sinks, and related components Following work instructions, drawings, and standard processes Using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure high standards Meeting productivity and on-time delivery targets Keeping your workstation clean and organised (5S) Reporting faults, defects, or material shortages to the Team Leader Following all health & safety and company procedures

What we're looking for

Experience in assembly or manufacturing is helpful but

not essential

Good attention to detail and practical skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Willingness to learn and follow processes Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Full training will be provided.
