Key responsibilities

Read and interpret assembly instructions and production diagrams. Assemble components accurately and efficiently to meet production goals and quality standards. Operate hand and power tools, including press tools, screwdrivers, and soldering equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in the assembly process. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety guidelines. Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. Assist in inventory management by keeping track of components and supplies.

Skills required

Proven experience as an

assembly operative or in a similar role

within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with assembly tools, equipment, and techniques. Attention to detail and precision in assembly tasks. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Basic computer skills for recording and tracking production data. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
