Luminous Show Technology is an award-winning designer and manufacturer of special effects equipment for stage shows and live events across the world.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team to assemble equipment in the production workshop.
The Role:
Assemble equipment in line with standard procedures
Work under instruction to ensure assembly is accurate and to a high standard
Assist with testing equipment prior to packing and dispatch
Be a proactive member of the team by raising assembly issues and maintaining a safe working environment
Clean and maintain tools/equipment
All necessary training will be given
The Person:
Essential skills/experience:
Affinity for practical hands-on working
Proactive, positive attitude
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Desirable skills/experience:
Previous experience in the entertainment industry or manufacturing sector
Hands-on experience of engineering hand tools and power tools
Experience in one or more of the following: mechanical assembly; electrical assembly; cabling and wiring; plumbing; welding; fabrication; maintenance & repair.
