Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for several Pneumatic Assembly Technicians to join our growing Operations team based in Staverton.

What will you be doing?
You'll be joining a talented, welcoming and collaborative team and will be responsible for the assembly of various pneumatic instruments, using complex diagnostic tests and methodologies as well as high-level technical build. You'll effectively interpret and utilise assembly and engineering drawing/specifications. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that all assembly functions are completed to the necessary quality standards - they meet contractual customer expectations and conformance to enable progression to final inspection and release. It's also crucial in this role that you adhere to legislation governing employment, including but not restricted to; health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.

What do you need to know?
You'll possess relevant experience working in a similar role, ideally within Aviation/Aerospace however this is not essential. You'll have no problem reading and interpreting engineering drawings and will have experience in working with hydraulic/pneumatic components. You'll have worked with measurement equipment in the past such as Verniers, Micrometres and will have excellent hand-eye coordination. You'll be able to work both independently and also as part of a team whilst possessing excellent prioritisation skills.
