Job Description

Main Purpose of Role As an integral part of the production team, you will be responsible for all types of Assembly Work plus any other duties deemed appropriate by your Team Leader. You will also be expected to take an active role in continuous improvement of quality, products and procedures. Key Duties And Responsibilities: The duties listed below are a general guide and will not cover all duties the job holder may be required to do. To safely use manual processes and process control documents, in accordance with production schedules and other agreed timescales. To undertake repairs/rework on parts as required. To ensure that at all times work is carried out to the highest standards, and in a timely manner, in accordance with company procedures. To develop good working relationships within own section and with other sections/departments. To take an active role in company initiatives such as continuous improvement, quality initiatives and new manufacturing systems and processes as they are introduced. To ensure that all work carried out complies with health and safety requirements as laid down by the company and by external bodies. To ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in area of work. To carry out any other tasks requested within capability. Person Specification High level of Dexterity and an eye for detail will be a necessary part of this job, Have the ability to effectively handle and assemble small parts by hand.appreciation of the importance of quality and meeting delivery schedules. Some experience with Assembly work would be an advantage. The ability to work as part of team is important. You should also be reliable, able to demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks, new methods and procedures. You will have the ability to effectively and safely use a range of hand and power tools. You will have an open and proactive approach to work and be willing to undertake repetitive processes for long periods of time. You may have some experience of basic inspection equipment and the ability to read and interpret drawing dimensions and layouts. Hours: o Basic hours are 08.00 to 16.30 five days per week (40 hours) o Overtime is subject to availability o 10 minute break at 10.30 (paid) o 30 minute break at 13.00 (unpaid) o Holiday 25 days plus statutory holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
