We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in using both power and hand tools. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling components and ensuring that products meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work effectively in a shop floor environment, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

Assemble components according to specifications and drawings. Utilise various power tools and hand tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Report any issues or discrepancies in materials or assembly processes to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in assembly or similar roles within a machine building environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-19.00 per hour
