We are recruiting an Assessor Trainer- Motor Vehicle to work at Hertford Regional College (HRC), based in the Broxbourne Campus, to ensure the effective delivery of all components of an apprentice's journey from the point of enrolment through to timely completion.

About the role



The role is responsible for supporting the successful enrolment, delivery, training, and achievement of apprentices by applying effective teaching, learning, and assessment practices. The postholder will ensure that all apprentices within their caseload achieve timely and successful outcomes in line with apprenticeship standards and organisational expectations. Working closely with the Business Development Manager and internal teams, they will manage the full apprentice journey from enrolment through to completion. This includes ensuring that all enrolment documentation, initial skills scans, and Off-the-Job (OTJ) training calculations are completed accurately and in accordance with government guidance. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching and assessment, providing regular feedback and tailored support to apprentices, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and readiness for end-point assessment. In addition, the postholder will maintain accurate and compliant records, contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, and uphold the organisation's standards for excellence in apprenticeship delivery.




About You




You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in Motor Vehicle and have occupational experience within the motor vehicle industry. You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a caseload of learners or apprentices and employers. You will have experience working with Apprenticeship Standards and experience of workplace assessing.
