What You Will Be Working On
Managing responsibility for all asset and compliance activities
Developing and implementing asset management strategies and lifecycle plans.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., HSE, fire safety, building regulations).
Maintaining accurate asset registers and compliance documentation.
Taking responsibility for CAFM system and its development for the Service to provide accurate data and reporting to support current and future strategic plans.
Leading audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the asset portfolio.
Managing planned and reactive maintenance programs in line with compliance requirements.
Liaising with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely resolution of compliance issues.
Monitoring and report on key compliance and asset performance indicators.
Driving continuous improvement in asset reliability, safety, and sustainability.
Providing leadership and training to ensure a culture of compliance and accountability.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone with a drive to achieve and develop withing ECFRS. With previous experience within an Asset performance or management role the candidate should be a natural leader with the ability to take responsibility for the estate compliance and provide solutions and forward planning as part of the Estates Strategy.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this opportunity, the idea candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in asset management and/or compliance roles
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
Experience with asset management systems (e.g., CMMS, CAFM)
Organisational and management skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to interpret technical documents, legislation and compliance reports
