Location: Croydon - Eldon Head Office
Working from Home: Up to 2 days per week
Salary: Circa 30,000 p.a. to 31,000 p.a. | Hours: Full-time
Responsible to: Asset and Facilities Manager (Core / C4C)
The Helpdesk is an important function for Eldon Housing. We're seeking proactive, customer-focused Asset and Facilities Coordinators to join our team and play a vital role in the smooth operation of our facilities management services. Based at our Head Office in Croydon, with some home working possible once fully trained, these are key positions that ensures prompt, professional support is delivered across the organisation.
There are 2 roles available:
Asset and Facilities - Core (6-month appointment), looking after Eldon tenants who live in one of our properties.
Asset and Facilities - Caring 4 Croydon, this is a permanent role, managing our obligations under our PFI contract, and the tenants that live in and around Croydon in one of 4 properties.
About the Role:
As an Asset and Facilities Coordinator, you will:
Be the first point of contact for all facilities-related enquiries, managing the Helpdesk and providing excellent customer service.
Log, track and close maintenance and repair requests.
Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of planned and reactive maintenance, asset changes, and statutory compliance.
Support the wider Facilities Management team with general administration, invoice processing, and documentation updates.
Provide cover for the C4C/Core Coordinator when needed and contribute to the wider success of the Facilities department.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is methodical, organised, and enjoys working in a busy, people-focused environment. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service or helpdesk environment
Strong administrative and IT skills (including MS Word and Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
