Job Title: Asset Care Operative

Location: Laurels Farm, Nantwich, CW5 7PE

Hours: 31.5 hours per week, 4 On, 4 Off Nights

Asset Care Operative is responsible for ensuring high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and asset care within our cheese manufacturing facilities. This includes operating Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) systems, conducting open plant and environmental cleaning, assembling and maintaining plant equipment, and ensuring compliance with cleaning documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Hygiene Operations:

Operate CIP systems effectively and efficiently to clean production equipment. Perform open plant cleaning of machinery and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards. Conduct environmental cleaning, including floors, walls, and drainage systems, to maintain a high hygiene standard. Follow all cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and company hygiene standards.

Asset Care & Maintenance:

Assist with basic plant assembly, disassembly, and routine maintenance tasks. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned to prevent contamination risks. Report any faults or maintenance requirements to the appropriate team.

Documentation & Compliance:

Complete all required cleaning records and documentation accurately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies. Participate in audits and inspections as required.
