The role
Southern Housing is on the lookout for a talented Asset Management Systems Analyst to play a key role in the migration of asset management systems into one cohesive unit and future AMS upgrades.
Working within the Asset Information team, you will be at the forefront of data integration across our Strategic Asset Management Department. Your role will involve supporting AMS system upgrades, data analysis, mapping and transformation, resolving data quality issues, leading workshops and collaborating with teams across the organisation, ensuring a seamless migration of data and processes.

What you'll be doing:
Conducting data mapping and transformation activities for asset data (such as components, attributes, characteristics, RDSAP, asbestos etc.) to align source data with the target system's structure.
Collaborating across Asset Management, Compliance, and IT teams to lead integration-focused discussions, resolve data-related challenges, and ensure alignment on migration goals and outcomes
Lead workshops and engagement sessions with business users to gather information on current state processes, systems configuration, and data discrepancies
Taking responsibility for analysing asset management data, highlighting and correcting data quality issues that could impact BAU and data migration activities
Maintaining clear and detailed documentation of migration processes including data mapping, issues and decision logs.
Assisting the procurement process and evaluation of a new asset management system
Acting as a problem solver, proactively following up on issues and tasks as well as engaging with stakeholders to deliver a successful migration of data and processes.
Undertaking user acceptance testing
Providing feedback to support decision making
What you'll need:

  • Experience developing processes, using systems and analysing data within large-scale migration projects from legacy to new platforms.
  • Data mapping and transforming knowledge and experience, aligning source system to target system structures
  • Experience leading discovery sessions and workshops with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining process inter-dependencies and integrating data across processes and systems
  • Understanding of Asset Management & Compliance in Social Housing and demonstrable experience of using Asset Management systems (such as Keystone and Apex)
  • Good understanding of regulatory reporting including Building Safety and Compliance, Decent Homes, Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and Energy (RdSAP)
  • Experience of data auditing and quality techniques, maintain large datasets, data extraction, manipulation and analysis
  • Effective use of data (Business Intelligence) and advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
