Job Description


We are currently recruiting for a new\xe2\x80\xafAssistant Accountant\xe2\x80\xaf(Offshore, International) to join our team. The\xe2\x80\xafAssistant Accountant\xe2\x80\xafwill assist in the Offshore Finance Team in ensuring efficient and robust financial management of internal processes and commercial guidance for the Offshore business. Reporting to the International Finance Manager with supervision provided by the International Accountant. A day in the life of an Assistant Accountant: Assist the International Finance Manager in all finance matters that support the International businesses. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly accruals, contractual billing and supporting documentation
  • Preparation and review of contract income statements ensuring strong collaboration with the operations team
  • Preparation of detailed contract cost analysis with focus on underperforming contracts
  • Compilation of payroll supporting documentation
  • Preparation of supporting documentation to facilitate monthly business performance review including variances to plan and forecast;
  • Management of contract PO\xe2\x80\x99s and forecasts
  • Oversee local AP activities ensuring strong controls and efficient processes in conjunction with the Shared Service Team
  • Support the finance and operations teams to deliver exceptional client service; and
  • Develop and maintain excellent professional relations with all stakeholders (clients, budget holders, Senior Management Team, Finance and other colleagues).
  • Support with balance sheet reconciliations

  • Microsoft Office experience with strong Excel skills
  • Oracle/ Congo\'s experience
  • Experience of Accounting in a low margin business
