We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing vital support to the Company Accountant, in delivering accurate, timely and compliant financial information.

This role covers the following key responsibilities:

Daily transactional finance processes Support with monthly payroll and quarterly VAT returns Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including indepth commentary and variance analysis for board reporting Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets an cashflow management Development and delivery of Key Performance Indicator reports Support with cost and activity analysis Support with development with Company systems and staff training Compliance with internal and external financial policies, processes and governance

Key Requirements:



Minimum of 3 - 4 years relevant Finance experience. Minimum part- aualified in CIMA/ACCA or an accounting technician qualification Excellent IT skills including proficiency in Excel (V-lookups and Pivot Tables) Experience of accounting software packages e.g. Sage or Xero Strong communication skills Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

: Proactive, organised, and able to work to deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive patient relationships. Previous experience in a healthcare accounting role desirable Access to a form of transport to assist with job responsibilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 32,000.00-36,000.00 per year
