Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time permanent basis.



Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, payments, bank reconciliations and sale invoices for a coaching business.



You will assist in the production of management accounts across multiple entities, systems and period ends, aligning processes and timelines to divisional requirements.

Accountabilities

Process purchase invoices, payments, bank recs, sales invoices, VAT returns for a coaching business Assist in the reporting for coaching businesses Reconcile AP/AR accounts for a coaching business Assist in the production of the management accounts, reports and other financial information Assist in the production of the balance sheet reconciliations Assist with external audits

Skills/Experience

Computer literate - advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint. AAT studying or qualified Commitment to work to deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well within the team, lead and coach direct reports High degree of attention to detail Ability to learn and take responsibility of tasks quickly A drive to make improvements and add value
