As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the production of monthly management accounts for both Bailey Caravans and PRIMA Leisure. This successful applicant will be not only responsible for delivering accurate and well-presented information in a timely manner but have the autonomy to shape and improve processes as they see fit, with support from the Management Accounting team.
You will be comfortable working within a team structure and willing to develop with the role in order to support the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Production of weekly and ad hoc reporting as required,
Complete daily bank reconciliations,
Responsible for administering all company credit cards,
Conduct monthly control account reconciliations,
Carry out regular overhead analysis,
Assist the rest of the team with the production of Management Accounts,
Partial involvement in the accounts payable function as and when required, this may involve processing and invoice matching.
Your Qualifications & Experience
Strong Excel skills
Newly Qualified AAT desirable but not essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines
High level of attention to detail
Strong organisation skills
Confident, with good communication skills
Initiative to suggest and implement improvements to current processes, with support from Group Accountant.
