We're seeking a Assistant Accountant to join our team and help shape the future of our brand.

What You'll Do



As Assistant Accountant, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and supporting both the finance function and the wider business operations. This is a hands-on and varied position, providing exposure across management and financial accounting disciplines.

Key Responsibilities include:

Supporting the Financial Controller with the monthly management accounts process Perform balance sheet reconciliations, such as fixed assets, pre-payments, and bank accounts Identify and process prepayments and accruals Process fortnightly payroll, manage pension submissions, and assist with tax returns Comparing actual financial results against budgeted figures to identify and explain differences Gather and analyse financial information to create and present reports for senior management to aid in decision-making Calculating monthly commission reports Assist with external audit processes Monitoring the finance inbox and responding to queries

What You'll Bring



Demonstrated experience in both management and financial accounting. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively. A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach with a strong team ethic. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business. Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organised working style.
