Job Description

As an Assistant Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Dealership Accountant and wider finance team in the day-to-day running of the accounts function. You'll help ensure accurate financial reporting, smooth month-end processes, and compliance with accounting standards.

Job Role

Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Process invoices, payments, and journal entries Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts Assist with month end preparation including payments, stock write downs and journals Provide general administrative and accounting support to the finance team
To be successful

We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a good understanding of accounting principles, and a proactive attitude.

Studying towards an accounting qualification would be desirable Previous experience in the motor trade would be desirable Strong Excel and accounting software skills with Keyloop Excellent organisational and time management abilities
