IHP Ltd is a poultry processing operation and we are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team in providing accounting services for the company. A full-time position 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
At least two years of experience in an accounting role is a must, AAT Level 3 or above. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google docs. Excel - use of basic formulas and knowledge of data modelling including pivot tables, lookup and others. Meticulous attention to detail, forward thinking, ability to work and communicate with our team and liaise with other internal departments and external suppliers/customer.
Responsibilities:
Invoice processing: dealing with queries and entering invoices.
Reconcile purchase ledgers: checking statements and sorting discrepancies.
Generate weekly suggested payment lists to the accounts manager.
Assist with month end process.
Maintain operation financial records to assist with reporting and internal controls.
Liaising with colleagues and suppliers to resolve accounts issues.
Provide guidance and help to junior members to deal with tasks with complexities.
Manage accounts mailbox, dealing with emails in timely manner.
Ad hoc financial analysis requested by the managers.
Miscellaneous tasks as required.
