AAT qualified (or studying) or holds a degree in Accounting/Finance

Duties
Assist in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Support VAT return preparation and bookkeeping using software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
Assist with tax computations and year-end accounts under supervision
Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate client records
Support budgeting processes and assist with monitoring expenditure where required
Handle day-to-day client communications, including collecting information and answering queries
Provide general office and administrative support to ensure smooth operations
Participate in audits and compliance reviews by preparing supporting documentation
Requirements
AAT qualified (or studying) OR a degree in Accounting/Finance
At least 1 year's experience in an accountancy or finance role (practice experience desirable)
Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage; training will be given)
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Enthusiastic about developing a career in accountancy practice
