Salary:

26,000 - 30,000 per year

Working hours:

34 hours a week

Schedule:

9AM-5PM, Mon-Thur (1 hour Lunch break), 9AM-4PM, Fri (1 hour Lunch break)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Accountant

to join our expanding team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about accounting, enjoys working directly with clients, and is eager to grow within a professional and supportive environment.

As an Assistant Accountant at BH1 Accounting Ltd, you will play an integral role in managing day-to-day accounting operations across a diverse range of clients. You will support the preparation of financial documents, maintain accurate records, and assist with compliance matters, while ensuring timely and clear communication with both clients and HMRC.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability in accounting tools--particularly

Quickbooks,

Xero

and

Excel

--and the capacity to think flexibly when approaching complex or unfamiliar tasks. We value individuals who can adapt to different client needs, solve problems independently, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities



Accounting Support:

Assist with VAT return preparation, monthly payroll, and manage monthly/quarterly bookkeeping duties

Administrative Responsibilities:

Support daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow

Client & HMRC Communication:

Handle enquiries, provide updates, and manage correspondence regarding financial matters and compliance

What We're Looking For (Not Mandatory Except For The Language Requirement)



Educational background in accounting or a strong foundation in basic accounting principles Experience with or knowledge of accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero or any accounting software Experience in a similar accounting role with exposure Currently studying towards one of the following qualifications: ACA/CIMA/ACCA Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work Great communication skills Fluency in English and Korean (both required) Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work
