Michael Page are delighted to be supporting a well known business and long standing client in their search for an Assistant Accountant within the Manufacturing and Production industry in Nottingham.
This is a hybrid position and is a vital role in our client's finance team in Nottingham.
Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure that deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations
- Business Partnering
- Support the wider finance function when required
- Transactional duties when required
- Adhoc duties
The successful Assistant Accountant:
- Experience in a similar position
- Actively studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Experience in a commercial role
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
- Proficient in accounting software
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive attitude
- Be local to Nottingham
