• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with the preparation of month end Management Accounts
• balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Provide support for audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting team.

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A degree, AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Experience in the life science industry is advantageous but not required.
