Job Description

This role requires an Assistant Accountant to support the accounting and finance department within the industrial and manufacturing sector. The position is based in Telford and involves assisting with financial processes and maintaining accurate records.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Support payroll processing and other employee-related financial tasks.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Handle data entry and maintain detailed financial records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
