As the Assistant Accountant you will support the senior management accountant by assisting with month-end financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, IT cost reporting, to ensure accurate financial management.

What you'll do:



Supporting the senior management accountant with the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial information to enable successful month end. Supporting of the preparation and coordination of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycle including reporting into HFM. Support IT Cost Manager with reporting and recharging of IT costs to Skanska AB. Ensure compliance of Skanska internal and international accounting financial policies and processes. Identify and drive improvements in processes and systems, identifying and mitigating risk. Completion and reconciliation of primary balance sheet accounts, undertaking further review to minimise risks and maximise opportunities. Participate and actively contribute to functional system and process improvement initiatives. Assist in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required by Senior management accountant and group finance manager.

What you'll bring to the role:



Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Good Microsoft Excel skills including working knowledge of formulae. Good knowledge of accounting computer systems (Oracle Fusion, and HFM) Good communication and interpersonal skills Highly motivated, self-starter, and committed individual with a track record of delivering high quality finance outputs.
