Assistant Apparel Designer





We are hiring an Assistant Apparel Designer on a 12-month fixed term contract to support our design team across all phases of the product design cycle, from concept to sign off.


This entry-level role is ideal for a passionate individual looking to gain practical experience in technical apparel design, with a focus on performance cycling. You'll assist with design development, tech pack creation, sample preparation, and research, while learning about fit, function, and innovation in high-performance sportswear.

Key Responsibilities:



Support senior designers in developing seasonal design concepts, CADs, and presentations. Assist with the creation and maintenance of tech packs, including specifications, measurements, trims, and construction details and colour CADS. Attend fittings and take notes to support design revisions. Conduct market and trend research across cycling, performance sportswear, fabrics, and sustainability. Organize design files, samples, and reference materials; help prepare materials for design reviews and meetings. Maintain and organise design working spaces. Maintain the Design archive. Participate in design team discussions and contribute ideas, insights, and research findings.

About You



An excellent opportunity for emerging designers or recent graduates looking to begin their career in performance apparel. Applicants should be studying or have recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Technical Apparel, or a related field. Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of CLO 3D is a plus. Strong interest in performance apparel and technical garment construction. Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced design environment. A passion for cycling, sportswear, or innovation in apparel is highly desirable.
