About the Role:
In this role, in addition to leading a small team of Engineering lecturers, you will have the chance to design and deliver electrical renewables courses, with a primary focus on commercial, full-cost projects, from our state-of-the-art Net Zero Centre.
The Centre features six fully functioning electrical renewables bays, covering Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging, as well as six heat pump bays, including solar thermal and dual fuel.
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent), encompassing an NVQ and AM2 assessment.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics - GCSE grade 4+ or equivalent
Level 5 Teaching Qualification
Assessor/Verifier Awards or a willingness to achieve within six months of starting the position.
Essential Experience:
Extensive knowledge and experience of current practices and innovations within the Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation sectors and in Further Education.
Proven evidence of effectively leading teams, or the passion, desire, and abilities to transition from a teaching role into a leadership role.
