Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the bar team, ensuring excellent service delivery and team cohesion.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes related to bar snacks and light meals, maintaining high standards of culinary quality.
Manage daily bar operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus, including cocktails and specialised beverages, to enhance customer experience.
Ensure all food production meets safety standards and adheres to health regulations.
Train staff in serving techniques, food safety procedures, and hospitality best practices.
Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to maintain a positive environment.
Organise staff rotas, oversee shift schedules, and supervise team performance.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives and promotional events to increase patronage.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts.
Extensive restaurant or hotel experience with knowledge of food safety protocols.
Experience in managing teams effectively within a busy environment.
Skills in food production, kitchen management, and hospitality service.
Previous barista or serving experience is advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
