What You'll Be Doing:

As Assistant Branch Manager, you'll support the Branch Manager in all areas of branch performance--from driving sales and customer satisfaction to overseeing day-to-day operations. You'll be a key player in growing the new branch, developing a top-notch team, and building strong customer relationships from day one.

Help run daily branch operations and step up to lead in the Branch Manager's absence Drive sales and profitability while keeping costs under control Build lasting relationships with local trade and retail customers Support, lead, and motivate the branch team to deliver outstanding service Monitor stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and assist with purchasing Help implement local marketing, customer events, and promotions Ensure the branch operates safely, cleanly, and in full compliance with company policies

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role (ideally in plumbing & heating, building supplies, or a similar trade environment) Strong commercial awareness with a focus on sales and margin Great communication skills and a hands-on leadership style A proactive, customer-first attitude Excellent time management and organisational skills

Bonus points if you have:

Experience with Intact IQ or similar business systems Product knowledge in plumbing and heating

Working Hours:

7.30am to 17.00pm Monday to Friday plus 08.00am to 12.00pm alternate Saturdays.
