Assistant Branch Manager

to join our team and help lead the daily operations, sales, and customer experience at one of our busy, successful branches.

What You'll Be Doing:

Support the Branch Manager

in leading a high-performing team Build and maintain strong relationships with our valued trade customers Drive

sales growth

, improve

gross profit

, and manage

operating costs

Oversee and coordinate branch transport and logistics Ensure the branch operates safely and efficiently (you'll be a health & safety champion!) Take responsibility as a

key holder

and act as Branch Manager when required
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in

builders merchanting or building materials sales

A confident, natural communicator with great

sales and negotiation

skills Strong leadership abilities - you know how to inspire and manage a team A problem-solver with great attention to detail and a hands-on approach Solid understanding of

health & safety

best practices Passion, ambition, and a desire to grow your career in a leadership role
