Were expanding our team at our Keynsham Branch and are looking for a dependable Assistant Branch Manager to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.


The Role


We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager in our Keynsham branch. In this role, you will support the day-to-day supervision of the branch team, drive improvements in the customer experience, and contribute to enhancing sales performance. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play a key part in maximising sales and profitability, while ensuring the efficient management of daily operations.


Responsibilities and Duties


Assisting customers on the trade counter and telephone as well as helping when needed to load.
Working with the Branch Manager on all aspects of branch development and customer service.
Stock replenishment from ordering materials to ensuring adequate stock levels.
Any other appropriate duties given by the Branch Manager.
Supervision of a team of colleagues.
Supporting the Branch Manager in the execution of the Sales plan for the branch.
Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations.
Ensuring all branch activity is centered around the customer and ensuring they have the best possible experience.
Provide cover for the Branch Manager when required.


Qualifications and Attributes


Experience in a similar role
A customer-focused approach
Strong administration and organisational skills
Develop and maintain excellent relationships
Strong sales and negotiation skills
Confident communicator at all levels
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Approachable


The Hours


Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00 & alternate Saturdays, 08:00 - 12:00
