St. Austell Brewery is recruiting for an exciting job opportunity to join our experienced Marketing team. As an Assistant Brand Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a vital role in the marketing team, assisting with the development and implementation of our campaigns and promotions across all channels. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a passionate and creative marketer who can manage and prioritise their workload and time effectively. With a keen eye for detail, you\xe2\x80\x99ll thrive on organisation, working across St Austell Brewery\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio of pubs, this wide-ranging marketing role will focus on engaging our target guests through a range of on and offline promotions, partnerships and incentives and in-pub activities. You\xe2\x80\x99ll spend a large proportion of time out in trade, so a willingness to travel around the south west, meeting our teams and get under the skin of our pubs across the region is a must. You\xe2\x80\x99ll plan and execute activations and initiatives that go hand-in hand with sales ambitions and have our guests at their heart. You\xe2\x80\x99ll understand the best ways to reach our audiences and will be adept at creating distinctive reasons to visit all year round.


We have recently undertaken a restructure of our marketing department, aimed at continuing to support the growth of St Austell Brewery. We understand that in today\'s fast-paced and ever-changing world, a well-executed marketing strategy is crucial for success. That\'s why we\'re investing in building a strong team of experts who will work together to create innovative and effective campaigns that will drive growth and build our brand.


About you



Working closely with Brand Managers and the wider Marketing team, your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting with the development and implementation of the agreed pubs\xe2\x80\x99 brand marketing plan; drive campaign initiatives and develop relevant marketing materials to engage guests and drive sales (in-pub, point of sale etc).
  • Supporting with the delivery of the overall pubs\' brand proposition including food and drink menus, entertainment and promotional materials and all other marketing collateral.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing partners 3rd party drinks suppliers for event and brand engagement activation purposes.
  • Maximising key brand partnerships and sponsorships\xe2\x80\x93 spanning PR, digital, social and branding.
  • Leading the end-to-end delivery of events across St Austell Brewery\xe2\x80\x99s managed pub estate in collaboration with the sites\xe2\x80\x99 teams. Including scoping event proposals, budget estimates and timing schedules.
  • Assisting the brand manager with key campaign deliverables e.g., photography shoots, advertising, promotions, or partnerships.
  • Assisting with the measurement and reporting of marketing initiatives during and after marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Helping coordinate consumer research and customer feedback to inform the direction of the portfolio, brand plans and to identify new opportunities for future growth.
  • Providing our tenanted pubs with marketing support as needed, sharing trends, knowledge and best practice.
  • Confidently deal with multi-level stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93 internally and externally. From colleagues in operations through to agencies, you\xe2\x80\x99ll thrive on delivering.
