Assistant Brewer
Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Full-time Assistant Brewer to join our small friendly team. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, with the opportunity to gain brewery qualifications for the right person. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the craft beer industry, have good organisational and communication skills and be physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
As Assistant Brewer you will be working alongside and reporting to our Head Brewer and be involved in supporting all aspects of brew production and distribution.
Duties are varied but would include mixing grain, cleaning brewing vessels and filling casks, monitoring fermentations, and maintaining accurate and timely production on our brewery software.
Hours of work are 9 to 5 Monday to Friday with occasional weekend days. Company benefits include a staff beer allowance and shop discount scheme.
Rate of pay DOE.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.38-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
