Responsibilities

Assist in the procurement of goods and services by evaluating suppliers and negotiating contracts to secure the best terms. Maintain accurate records of purchases & pricing using internal systems. Collaborate with site teams teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any supply chain issues that may arise. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Support the development of purchasing strategies that align with company objectives. Monitor site stock levels and assist in forecasting future purchasing needs. Prepare reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends for management review.

Requirements

Proven experience in a buying or procurement role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with procurement system Eque 2 is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers. Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics management. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word) for reporting and analysis purposes.
